ICCTA Certificate of MeritFormer trustee McHenry County College At the age of 19, Nick Kachiroubas won election to the McHenry County College Board, becoming the youngest college trustee elected in Illinois history. Because of his youth and previous experience as a student trustee, he has taken an active role in the development of other student leaders. He serves as advisor to the Illinois Community College Board's Student Advisory Committee and organizes its annual Student Leadership Institute each summer.  Nick Kachiroubas accepts his 2005 ICCTA Certificate of Merit. In addition, Kachiroubas has presented workshops and orientation sessions for students on behalf of the national Association of Community College Trustees.
