ICCTA Lobby Day Schedule
May 8 - 9, 2001

ICCTA has arranged a group luncheon on May 9 with members of the Illinois General Assembly, the Governor's office, and various higher education agencies.. Cost is $70 per person. Appointments with individual lawmakers should be arranged separately by each college district.

TUESDAY, MAY 8, 2001
All events will take place at the Hilton Hotel

  • 3:30 - 4 PM: ICCTA FINANCE COMMITTEE
  • 4 - 5 PM: ICCTA EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
  • 5 - 7 PM: ICCTA BOARD OF REPRESENTATIVES MEETING
  • 7 - 8 PM: DINNER ($25 per person)
    with guest speaker Judith E. Madonia
    Former ICCTA president, Illinois Community College Board
    member, and Lincoln Land Community College trustee
  • 8:30 - 10 PM: CITY COLLEGES OF CHICAGO DESSERT RECEPTION


    WEDNESDAY, MAY 9, 2001

  • 8:30 - 9:45 AM: REGISTRATION AND LEGISLATIVE BRIEFING
          2nd floor conference room, Community College Center
  • 10 AM - Afternoon: LEGISLATIVE VISITS
          State Capitol Complex
  • 11:30 AM - 1 PM: LEGISLATIVE LUNCHEON ($70 per person)
          Rathskeller Restaurant, State Capitol basement
