ICCTA's 2013 Lobby Day focus:
Budget, budget, budget
Budget issues were the focus during ICCTA's May 1 Lobby Day in Springfield. Trustees told
state legislators that community colleges are teaching more students, offering more course work, and paying more in
salaries while receiving less state money than they did 20 years ago -- and receiving those funds late.
ICCTA sponsors PAAC event
Carl Sandburg College hosted ICCTA's annual Professional Administrative Assistants Conference on April 3-5. Highlights included
a legislative update, a ‘how to’ workshop on Outlook 2013, and a tour of CSC's Mortuary Science laboratories.
